Large Ceramic Bowl
This listing is for a large, hand built ceramic bowl. It can be used as a salad bowl, mixing bowl or decorative piece. It has a lovely shade of spring green on the inside and rim. The outside is decorated with a variety of hand painted whimsical flowers. The decoration is hand carved and glazed using the ancient technique called Mishima. The designs are carved into wet clay. Then stain is applied to accent the lines and then fired. Finally the decorative glazes are applied to add color. The bowl measures 10x10 x5.5. It can hold up to 48 fluid ounces. Priced at $65 dollars.
